The present miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 280 days in preferring the above appeal in Crl.A.No. of 2023 against the order of acquittal order passed by the learned IV Fast Track Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai in C.C.No.1329 of 2018 dated 23.09.2022.

2. Mr.K.Kannan, learned counsel appearing for the respondent has no objection for this petition being allowed.

3. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and list the same for admission.
