ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on the petitioners' request dated 17.06.2019 and 27.08.2019 to forward name of petitioners Daughter Mrs.V.Padmapriya for employment in the office of third respondent as beneficiary under land-losers scheme in the light of G.O.Ms.No.1244 Revenue M1 department.
2. The petitioner's lands have been acquired by the State for the benefit of the third respondent. Since the petitioner and like others have lost their lands due to such acquisition, they are given with a scheme called 'Land-losers Scheme'. Under this scheme, the land losers are given with the benefit of getting employment for one person from their respective families.
3. By virtue of G.O.Ms.No.1244 Revenue M1 Department dated
13.08.1987, employment has to be given by the third respondent. The petitioner who is said to have given up his lands, approximately measuring to an extent of 60 cents, has given a representation to the third respondent, but he was not given with any employment so far.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner now submitted that the petitioner had received a reply from the third respondent who had insisted the petitioner to include his name in the 'Land displaced candidate's' list prepared by the District Collector, Ranipet.
5. Pursuant to the above letter, the petitioner can very well give a representation to the District Collector, Ranipet under whose jurisdiction the third respondent project is placed and get a necessary certificate as required by the third respondent. On receipt of such representation from the petitioner, the second respondent shall consider and grant the necessary certificate or the copy of the list after verifying the relevant records within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed. No costs.
