Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend time for a period of 4 weeks to comply with the order dated 08/12/2021, passed in CMP No.19169 of 2021 in AS.No.440 of 2021 pending on the file of this Hon`ble Court (in CMP.NO.2643 OF 2022). Order : This miscellaneous petition coming on this day for hearing upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.S.P.ARTHI, Advocate for the petitioners and of MR.N.MANOKARAN, Advocate for the Respondents, the court made the following order:- By order dated 08.12.2021, the Division Bench of this court while granting stay has directed the appellant to deposit the decreetal amount to the credit of O.S.No. 4271 of 2018 on the file of the VI Additional City Civil Court, Chennai before the next date of hearing i.e. 07.02.2022.
2. Now, the appellant has filed the above petition seeking for extension of time by four weeks.

3. When the petitioners were directed to deposit the amount on or before 07.02.2022, the question of granting of four weeks time for complying with the said order does not arise for the reason that today being the 14th day of March, 2022, the four weeks time sought for by the petitioners had expired.
4. In these circumstances, in the interests of justice, we grant time till 21.03.2022 to the petitioners for complying with the orders of this court dated 18.12.2021. Accordingly, we direct the petitioners to deposit the entire decreetal amount together with accrued interest and cost to the credit of O.S.No. 4271 of 2018 on the file of the VI Additional City Civil Court, Chennai on or before 21.03.2022. In the event of amount being deposited by the petitioners, the VI Additional City Civil Court, Chennai is directed to deposit the same, in a fixed deposit in Indian Bank, Madras High Court Branch, Chennai in re-investment scheme initially for a period of one year.
5. With these observations, the petition is disposed of.
6. Post the matter on 21.03.2022.
