Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second and third respondents to comply and implement the proceedings dated 08.03.2023 made in Na.Ka.No.4562/2022/A2 passed and as directed by the first respondent in pursuance of the Order dated 18.04.2022 made in W.P.No.6156 of 2022 by this Court.

ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition is filed to direct the second and third respondents to comply and implement the proceedings dated 08.03.2023 made in Na.Ka.No.4562/2022/A2 passed and as directed by the first respondent in pursuance of the Order of this Court dated 18.04.2022 made in W.P.No.6156 of 2022.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the house site bearing Plot No.31 measuring to an extent of 1800 sq.ft. in Survey No.549/N in Varadaraapuram Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and he has carried out mutation of revenue records and obtained patta in his name. While so, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sriperambadur Taluk cancelled the 2/5

patta in the name of the petitioner and 56 others at the instance of the fourth respondent. Challenging the same, a Writ Petition in W.P.No.6156 of 2022 has been filed and the same has been allowed restoring the patta in the name of the petitioner and directed the second and third respondents to carry out necessary mutation in the revenue records. But the same has not been done. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the fact that this Court by an Order dated 18.04.2024 made in W.P.No.6156 of 2022 had already directed the third respondent to carry out the entries in the revenue records and the same has not been done, let the second and third respondents implement Orders of the first respondent dated 08.03.2023, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
