O R D E R
The present Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.12.2025 and to permit her to break open her house with the assistance of the fifth respondent police.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was accused in the murder of her husband and during her arrest in the said case, her house was illegally locked by some unknown persons and was not allowed to enter into her house. Thereupon, the petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 22.11.2025 before the fifth respondent. Despite the registration of a case in C.S.R.No.1397 of 2025, no further steps have been taken by the fifth respondent police. Thereupon, the petitioner sent a representation dated 13.12.2025 to respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action and a direction to the fifth respondent. As no action was taken on the said representation, the present petition has been filed. 2/5
Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the fifth respondent police are conducting an enquiry. It is made clear that the petitioner shall not be harassed during the course of the enquiry.
