This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal/representation made by the petitioner dated 26.10.2022 wherein the petitioner is seeking for adding her name in patta No.10701 along with other co-patta holders, pertaining to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.V.Raghupathi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. The specific case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is one of the legal heirs of the original owner of the property whereas the name of the petitioner was not added along with the name of the other legal heirs in whose name a joint patta has been issued in patta No.10701. Hence, the petitioner has made an appeal before the first respondent in this regard. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner dated 26.10.2022 after affording opportunity to all the interested parties and orders shall be passed on its own merits and in accordance with law with a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
