Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus Directing the 1,2 and 3 Respondents to give the Petitioners 6th standard transfer certificate original, within a time stipulated by this honble Court and to order compensation of Rs. 5lakhs for pain, suffering, poverty and mental agony and to order any other remedy as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the above case.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs: "Directing the 1,2 and 3 Respondents to give the Petitioners 6th standard transfer certificate original, within a time stipulated by this honble Court and to order compensation of Rs. 5lakhs for pain, suffering, poverty and mental agony and to order any other remedy as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the above case."
2. The 4th respondent had filed a counter affidavit stating as follows:- "2. I submit that the office copy of the transfer certificate in Government High School, Edayarpakkam for the period of 1971-73 is still available. A duplicate transfer certificate could be provided to the petitioner if the Honourable Court directs to do so. This duplicate transfer certificate well provide all benefits, which are available from original transfer certificate"
3. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 4th respondent to issue a duplicate Transfer Certificate to the petitioner within a period of one week from today. The 4th respondent shall not await the certified copy of this order, as the order has been pronounced in the presence of the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 4th respondent. No costs.
