in C.M.P.No.18091 of 2022 in O.S.A.No.269 of 2020 dated 11.01.2023.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.Edwin Prabhakaran, learned Special Government Pleader assisted by Mr.R.Siddharth, learned Government Advocate for the petitioners and Ms.V.V.Uthra, for M/s.K.J.Parthasarathy, learned counsel for the first respondent.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the petitioners submits that the Demand Draft of the amount, as was directed by this Court under order dated 22.08.2022, is ready with them and the same can be deposited today also.

3. The petitioners may deposit the Demand Draft of the amount, as directed by this Court under order dated 22.08.2022, by tomorrow (i.e., by 21.11.2023) with the Registry. The petitioners will further be liable to deposit the interest on the said amount from 24.10.2022 till the date of deposit at the rate of 7% per annum. The said interest amount would be deposited within a period of four weeks from today.

4. In case the deposit is made as directed, then the interim order passed earlier shall continue for a period of four weeks.

5. In the light of the above, the present review application stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. (S.V.G., CJ.) (D.B.C., J.) 20.11.2023 Index :
