The case of the petitioner is that she has sent a representation dated 03.12.2025 to the 4th respondent police seeking issuance of non-traceable certificate in respect of document No.7169 of 2018 dated 31.12.2018 which has not been considered so far and hence, the petitioner has approached this Court.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the 3rd respondent is the competent authority to decide the request of the petitioner regarding the issuance of Non-Traceable Certificate. He further submitted that the 3rd respondent has not received the representation from the petitioner so far. He further submitted as per the circular issued by the Director General of Police regarding the manner in which the investigation on a complaint given for missing documents has to be conducted, it is necessary that the complainant as well as the police has to follow the said circular. Hence, if the petitioner submits a fresh representation furnishing the details mentioned in the said 2/4

circular, the same shall be duly considered in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the receipt of the such representation. 3.

Recording the same, this Writ Petition Criminal is disposed of.
