J U D G M E N T

This Writ Appeal has been filed challenging the order dated 05.03.2018 passed by this Court in W.P.No.4740 of 2018.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the First Respondent submitted that the Management is willing to pay a sum of Rs.4,50,000/- to the Workman as full and final settlement of all his claims including gratuity. He also filed a Memo of the 1st Respondent dated 31.03.2023 to that effect. The relevant portion of the said Memo is extracted hereunder: "The above matter came up before the Hon'ble High Court on 30.03.2023 and there were offers, counter offers and suggestions made which was informed to us. The 1st Respondent states that the Management is ready and willing to compensate the Petitioner in a sum of Rs.4,50,000/- as full and final settlement of all the claims of the Petitioner in I.D.No.174 of 2021 and any other claim by virtue of his service in this Respondent. The 1st Respondent further states that this amount will be paid within any time frame and in such manner as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court."

3. The Appellant/Workman agreed to the terms of the said Memo and willing to accept the aforesaid amount offered by the Management. 2/4

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side and also recording the Memo dated 31.03.2023, this Writ Appeal stands disposed of. No costs.
