When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner passed away in the year 2008. But, so far his legal representatives have not been substituted to pursue the writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
