CRIME NO. 2595 OF 2021.

Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time granted in Crl.O.P No.25913/2021 dated 7.1.2022 credit of crime No.2595/2021 before the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate,Egmore, Chennai.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.SANKARASUBBU, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.S.SANTHOSH, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time granted in Crl.O.P.No. 25913 of 2021 dated 07.01.2022.

2. This Court on 07.01.2022, while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner imposed a condition that the petitioner should deposit a sum of Rs. 7 lakhs to the credit of the Crime No. 2595 of 2021 within a period of three weeks.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the above stated condition was not complied by the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner states that due to illness of the petitioner and other reasons, he was not able to deposit Rs.7 lakhs.

5. Taking note of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, time extended till 18.03.2022 for depositing the entire amount of Rs.7,00,000/- as directed by this Court, with a condition that no further extension of time will be granted failing which, the anticipatory bail granted will be automatically cancelled without any reference by this Court.
