PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Perambalur to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner in Crl.MP.No.7568 of 2014, within a time frame fixed by this court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Judicial Magistrate-I, Perambalur to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner in Crl.MP.No.7568 of 2014, within a time frame fixed.

2.Heard Mr.G.Ilamurugu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the application filed by the petitioner has been kept pending from the year 2014 onwards, there shall be a direction to the Judicial Magistrate-I, Perambalur [now handled by the incharge Magistrate viz; Judicial Magistrate No.II, Perambalur], to dispose of the application in Crl.MP.No.7568 of 2014, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This criminal original petition is disposed of with the above directions.
