O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in the event of his arrest, pending investigation in Crime 1/4

No.1024 of 2020 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Sadras Police Station, Chengalpattu District.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this is the third application for Anticipatory Bail. The second application was dismissed on 02.03.2021. He would further submit that A1 has been granted bail by this Court. The respondent has not taken any steps to secure the petitioner so far and thereby, he would seek to grant Anticipatory Bail.

3.Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would vehemently oppose stating that the Petitioner along with other accused assaulted the father of the defacto complainant with iron rod on his cheek, nose and head. Thereby, he had sustained grievous injuries and he had been admitted in the hospital and taken treatment as inpatient in the hospital for a period of 10 days. Thereafter, he was discharged from the hospital. The petitioner has got four previous cases, out of which, one is under Section 302 of IPC. He would further submit that the petitioner is absconding and there is no change of circumstances. 2/4

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

5. Taking into consideration of the fact that the petitioner has got four previous cases and there is no change of circumstances, after the dismissal of the earlier application, this Court is not inclined to grant Anticipatory Bail to the petitioner.
