O R D E R

Today, when this Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing on either side submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties by way of entering into a Memo of Compromise dated 16.07.2021, the terms of which are extracted hereunder:

" MEMO OF COMPROMISE The Petitioner and the Respondents 2 to 14 herein respectfully submit as follows:

It is submitted that the Petitioner/Management has filed the above Writ petition in W.P.No.40441 of 2005 challenging the order passed passed by Assistant Commissioner of Labour, Teynampet, Chennai dated 27.04.2005, before this Hon'ble Court relating to subsistence allowances. In pursuance of compromise arrived between the petitioner/management and the respondents 2 to 14/workmen, the petitioner has settled the amount as passed by the 1st respondent herein by way of Demand Drafts and the same has been handed over to the respondents/workmen through their counsel on 15.07.2021."

2.Recording the Memo of Compromise dated 16.07.2021, this Writ Petition is closed. The Memo of compromise shall form part of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
