The order of suspension issued in proceedings dated 29.11.2005 is under challenge in the present Writ Petition.

2. The Writ Petitioner was placed under suspension on account of the pendency of the criminal case. However, at the time of filing the Writ Petition, the petitioner was aged about 57 years. During the pendency of the Writ Petition, the petitioner would have reached the age of superannuation, and a revised order would have been passed by the Competent Authority.

3. In view of the fact that the Writ Petitioner has attained the age of superannuation, the suspension order issued by the respondent while the petitioner was in service deserves no further adjudication. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
