ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the accused to direct the XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, to dispose of the case in C.C. No.368 of 2016 at early.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the respondent herein has filed a private complaint against the petitioner herein stating that the petitioner has committed offences under Sections 447 and 500 of IPC and based on the same, the learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, has taken a case on file in CC.No.368 of 2016 and issued summons to the petitioner herein. He further submitted that even though the petitioner has appeared on 06.04.2016 itself, the respondent has not shown any interest to conduct the case. He further submitted that after passing several orders as last chance for adducing evidence on the side of the complainant, he examined himself as PW.1 in chief and thereafter https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
for cross examination he has not appeared for several hearings and therefore he requests to direct the Trial Court to dispose of the above said case at early.

The diary extract produced by the petitioner shows that on 06.04.2016, the petitioner appeared before the Trial Court and copies were furnished and thereafter the case was adjourned to 24.05.2016 and on that day, the petitioner was questioned with regard to the accusation and thereafter the case was adjourned to 12.05.2016 for trial. But so far the case has not been disposed of. Hence, the Trial Court is directed to dispose of the above said case within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the aforesaid directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
