O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 31.10.2022 to survey the land situated in S.No.17/2B to the extent of 166 1/4

sq.mt. situated at Pallatheru, Karaima Nagar, Kundrathur, Chennai - 600 069.

2. In respect of the land at Survey No.17/2B situated at Pallatheru, Karaima Nagar, Kundrathur, Chennai, the petitioner had given an application on 31.10.2022 to survey the land and necessary fee also has been paid by him, therefore in order to consider the said application, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.V.Elangovan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 1st and 2nd respondents. In view of the order going to be passed in this writ petition, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the official respondents would submit that, the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and needful would be undertaken by completing the survey within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the official respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders: There shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to survey the land in question as claimed by the petitioner by giving notice to both the petitioner as well as the 3rd respondent and complete the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
