Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records connected with the award dated 16.07.2013, passed by the first respondent in I.D.No.565 of 2000, quash the same and also direct the second respondent to reinstate the petitioner with continuity of service, back wages and all other attendant benefits.

When the Writ Petition was earlier listed under the caption "Writ Petition Default Cases" on 13.06.2017, the petitioner was granted an opportunity to pay batta on or before 27.06.2017, failing which the Writ Petition would stand automatically dismissed as against the second respondent herein, who is the contesting respondent. Even after this order was passed, the petitioner herein had not paid batta for the second respondent. In view of the earlier order of this Court dated 13.06.2017, the Writ Petition, as against the second respondent, is deemed to have been dismissed. second respondent, no effective order can be passed in the present Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed for default. There shall be no orders as to costs.
