ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his land for laying pipeline for one day on the basis fo the complaint made by the petitioner on 11.12.2023.

Heard Mr.Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted in CSR No.281 of 2023 and it was closed on 21.01.2024 and that a direction was given to the parties to agitate the dispute before the appropriate Civil Court. 2/4

In the light of above development, the relief as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. It is left open to the petitioner to approach the competent civil court and seek for the necessary relief. 5.
This Criminal Original petition is disposed of in the above terms.
