This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1 of 2017, on the file of the District Sessions Judge,Chengalpattu.

2. Today, when the matter is called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that, in this case the trial has commenced and three witnesses were already been examined.

3. In view of the above submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, at this stage, it would not be appropriate to consider the petitioner's request to quash the proceedings.
