O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 31.07.2024, seeking police protection to put up superstructure on her land comprised at Thokkiyam Village, Gejalnayakanpatti Rural, Kandhili Panchayat union vide survey No.252/1 and 252/1-A with an extent of 0.40 cents.

2. Heard both sides and perused the material available on record.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that police protection can only be granted to safeguard the life and limb of a person. If there is any obstacle or objection while erecting a fence around the petitioner's property, the petitioner may approach the Civil Court for appropriate relief.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. 14.02.2025 : Yes/No Speaking/non-speaking order shk
