Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.03.2018.

ORDER

Mr.N.Ramesh, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.03.2018 was not considered by the respondents and hence the present Writ Petition.

3. It is further submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner.

4. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that the Writ Petition is not maintainable. However, if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent, he is ready to consider the grievance of the petitioner in accordance with law.

5. In the light of the above submissions, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.03.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

6. With the above observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
