ORDER
Seeking a direction to the respondents to recall their letter issued to Airport Authorities, Chennai, with regard to Crime Nos.339 and 366 of 2013 on the file of the 2nd respondent, the petitioner has come up with this petition.
2.It is the case of the petitioner that he was shown as an accused in Crime No.339 of 2013 and that he was granted anticipatory bail by this Court in CrlOP.No.24307 of 2013 on 10.10.2013. When the case was on investigation, a Look Out Circular was issued by the Intelligence Bureau on the request of the investigating agency.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since the petitioner and the defacto complainant have arrived at an amicable settlement, the Look Out Circular will be a hindrance for free movement of the petitioner. A letter has been given by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Mr.Poomaran, Inspector of Police, Team XVII, Central Crime Branch, Chennai, to the Intelligence Bureau, MHA, Government of India, New Delhi, through his superior Officers for deleting the name of the petitioner from the LOCs.
4.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed, with a direction to the respondents herein to ensure that the name of the petitioner is deleted from the LOCs by the Intelligence Bureau, MHA, Government of India, New Delhi, as expeditiously as possible and not later than a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Registry is directed to mark a copy of the order to the Chief Immigration Officer, Bureau of Immigration, Shastri Bhavan, Annexe Building, No.26, Haddows Road, Chennai-6.
