Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to dispose the representation made by the petitioner dated 29.08.2017, relating to building violations and issue suitable directions to the respondents 1 to 3 to initiate action against the 4th respondent property as mentioned above within a stipulated time.

(Order of the Court was made by T.RAJA, J.) This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner dated 29.08.2017.

2. Mr.K.Raja Srinivas, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Chennai Corporation submitted that with regard to the representation of the petitioner dated 29.08.2017, already notice has been issued to the petitioner and the fourth respondent on 07.05.2018 and the same is pending.

3. It could be seen that action has been initiated on the representation of the petitioner by issuance of notice to both the petitioner and the fourth respondent. However, since the representation of the petitioner dated 29.08.2017, is pending for a long time, the respondents 1 to 3 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.08.2017, and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the 4th respondents, pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
