representatives of the deceased ninth defendant to condone the delay in SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY,J rna seeking to set aside the abatement; to set aside the abatement; and to bring the applicants on record as the legal representatives of the deceased ninth defendant.

2. Learned counsel for the plaintiff has no objection to these applications being allowed. He also submits that parties are engaged in negotiations towards a possible amicable settlement.

3. Upon examining the affidavit in support of these applications and being satisfied that sufficient cause is shown, these applications are allowed as prayed for. There are 12 defendants in the suit. Consequently, the applicants shall be impleaded as defendants 13 to 16.
