In both WPs For Petitioners : Mr.M.Venkadesh Kumar For Respondents : Mr.R.P.Muruganraja Government Advocate COMMON ORDER Since these writ petitions are filed by the same petitioners and the issue is also one and the same, with the consent of the learned counsel appearing for both sides, both the writ petitions were heard together and are disposed of by this common order.

In respect of the properties at Survey No.178/3 (1 Acre and 9 Cents), S.No.286/6 (21 cents), S.No.286/2 (79 cents), old Survey No.231 and New S.No.427/17 (20 cents), Old S.No.213 New S.No.127/46 (10.5 cents) and Old S.No.231 new S.No.427/46 (1 cents) situated at Vengampakkam Village and S.No.298/1 (5 Acres 27 cents) situated at Poonthandalam Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Chengalpattu District, the petitioners claimed that those properties have been allotted to the petitioners by virtue of partition decree passed by the competent Civil Court and by virtue of that these properties since have been allotted to the petitioners, the petitioners made these applications on 31.07.2019 to the respondents for issuance of patta and in order to consider those applications 2/5
and to do the needful, the petitioners have moved these two writ petitions with the respective prayers.
3. Heard Mr.M.Venkadesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioners would be considered by the 3rd respondent Tahsildar who is competent to consider these kind of applications for issuance of patta and accordingly on merits it would be decided within a time frame.
5. Considering the said submissions made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the respective applications submitted by the petitioners for issuance of patta dated 31.07.2019 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With this direction, both the Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
