This miscellaneous petition has been taken out by the petitioners seeking to rectify the typographical error in paragraphs 3 & 6 of the order dated 6.4.2016 passed in W.P.No.26343 of 2015, wherein in paragraph-3, instead of mentioning that the first petitioner has been working as Lighting Inspector and the second petitioner has been working as Electrician, it has been wrongly mentioned that the petitioners were working in the post of Assistant Engineer. Similarly, in paragraph-6, instead of directing the respondents to promote the second petitioner to the post of Junior Engineer on par with his juniors, it has been wrongly mentioned as to the post of Junior Assistant.

3. As the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition also supports the prayer of the petitioners, this miscellaneous petition stands ordered and the first sentence in paragraphs 3 & 6 of the order shall be read as follows:- "3. The claim of the petitioners is that while the first petitioner was working in the post of Lighting Inspector and the second petitioner was working in the post of Electrician, they have applied for permission to pursue Diploma in Electrical Engineering conducted by the Indira Gandhi National Open University on full time programme during the year 2010-2011 and 2011-2012.....

6. In such view of the matter, recording the above

said submission of the learned counsel for the respondent Corporation, this Court directs the respondents to promote the second petitioner to the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical) on par with his juniors....."
