O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 12.07.2019, wherein the petitioner had sought for reimbursement of the Medical expenses incurred by her and also sought for fixation of seniority.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she was working as a Inspector of Police and she suffered a fracture on her back, which resulted in petitioner undergoing an operation. The petitioner had incurred huge expenses towards the operation and therefore, she has made a representation to the respondents seeking for the reimbursement of the Medical expenses incurred by the petitioner. Incidently, the petitioner also sought for fixation of her seniority. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

3. Heard Mr.P.Chandrasekar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.K.Parameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the fifth respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 12.07.2019 and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the fifth respondent along with the copy of the representation dated 12.07.2019 and a copy of this order. A copy shall also be marked to the first respondent.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
