The Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking direction to the I Additional Principal Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the F.C.O.P. No.3499 of 2019 pending on its file within a time fixed by this Court. 1/4
2. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to dispose of the revision, even without notice to the respondent.
3. The petitioner herein filed a F.C.O.P. No.3499 of 2019 against the respondent seeking divorce on the ground of cruelty. A perusal of the E-Courts adjudication status filed in the typed set of papers would suggest that the counter of the respondent was filed as early as on 18.01.2021 and thereafter, the matter has been adjourned from time to time for enquiry without any progress.
4. In such circumstances, this Court is inclined to issue direction to the I Additional Principal Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the F.C.O.P. No.3499 of 2019 as expeditiously as possible.
