Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for records relating to the impugned order dated 01.03.2018 passed by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.03/D3PS/SLM/20178 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 1 &2 herein to permit the public meeting to be held on 11.03.2018 either at Samathuvapuram or Raman Nagar of Nangavalli Union for the celebration of Birthday of Honourable J. Jayalalitha.

The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 &2 herein to permit the public meeting to be held on 11.03.2018 either at Samathuvapuram or Raman Nagar of Nangavalli Union for the celebration of Birthday of the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J. Jayalalitha.

Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the date on which the petitioner has sought for permission to conduct the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

public meeting to celebrate the Birthday of the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J. Jayalalitha has been lapsed and hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. 3.
