This petition is filed to call for the records in Computation Petition No.536 of 2013, order dated 16.10.2019, Additional Labour Court, at Coimbatore insofar as the claim which has been disallowed and quash the same.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner died on 29.01.2024 pending writ petition. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 06.03.2024, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner were not interested in contesting the matter and hence, the learned counsel sought time to get written instructions.

3.Today, the learned counsel has filed the written instructions of the legal heirs of the petitioner conveying their decision not to continue the case with further request not to proceed with the matter. 2/5

4.In the light of the written instructions of the legal heirs of the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
