Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent herein to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 09.07.2018 preferred under Section 47-A of the Indian Stamp Act against the order S.R.No.1249/2017 dated 25.04.2018 of the 2nd respondent immediately to enable the petitioner to use the sale deed dated 24.02.2017, registered as Document No.419/2017 for the day-to-day use.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 09.07.2018 filed against the order of the second respondent dated 25.04.2018 regarding deficit stamp duty.

3. Heard both sides.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said appeal is still pending and not disposed of, so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the first respondent to consider and decide. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 09.07.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing all the parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done by the first respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
