This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 20.12.2024, wherein, the petitioner has sought for the removal of the names of respondents 3 to 7 from the revenue records with respect to the subject property. 2.Heard Mr.R.Nalliyappan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 & 2.

3.The petitioner is claiming right over the subject property through a Settlement Deed dated 09.07.2009. It is the specific case of the petitioner that 2/5

originally an individual patta was granted in favour of the petitioner in Patta No.399. However, subsequently, the names of respondents 3 to 7 was added and a fresh patta was issued in Patta No.916. The petitioner has approached the 1st respondent seeking for the removal of the names of respondents 3 to 7 who have no right over the property. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 20.12.2024 after affording opportunity to respondents 3 to 7 and final orders shall be passed on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
