This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to conduct the survey and to transfer the patta with respect to the subject property in favour of the petitioner.

The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was settled in his favour by his father and mother. The further case of the petitioner is that he has already paid the charges to the respondent to conduct a survey and for transfer of patta in favour of the petitioner. The further case of the petitioner is that the property has also been measured by the surveyor and thereafter, the patta is yet to be issued in favour of the petitioner. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate direction.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the application given by the petitioner on 24.07.2019 and representation dated 04.12.2019 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with a copy of the application dated 24.07.2019 and a copy of the representation dated 04.12.2019 along with a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
