Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for the relief of issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to direct the 3rd respondent to issue a patta to the vacant land to the extent of 3.70 Acres bearing S.No.41 at K.Agraharam village, Thiruvanapatti Post, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District as per Assignment D Patta issued in favour of late Mari and their possession for the last 40 years based on the petitioner's representation dated 3.10.2012 for issuance of patta to the vacant land to the extent of 3.70 Acres bearing S.No.41 at K.Agraharam village, Thiruvanapatti Post, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District.

ORDER

The petitioner made representation on 3.10.2012 to the respondents to the effect that she is entitled to be given a patta for the land to the extent of 3.70 Acres bearing S.No.41 at K.Agraharam village, Thiruvanapatti Post, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District in pursuant to the sale effected in her favour from the legal heirs of deceased Ex.serviceman by name Mari. representation has not been considered by passing appropriate orders, the present writ petition is filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration of the pendency of the representation dated 3.10.2012 made by the petitioner, a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order either by himself or by directing his subordinate officer to do so. The petitioner is also directed to furnish a copy of the representation dated 3.10.2012 to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order along with a copy of this order.
