ORDER
The prayer made in this writ petition is to issue a mandamus, directing the first respondent to restore electricity supply to the service connection nos.258-10-821 and 258-01-0-469 standing in the name of one Amaralingam which was duly extended to the petitioner unit namely, Wincy Blue Metal functioning at SF No.144/1, Pammal Village, Alandur Taluk, Kancheepuram District on payment of arrears, reconnection charges and minimum charges payable for the period of non-use.
2.On notice and due instructions, the learned counsel for the respondents fairly submitted that the case of the petitioner be considered by the respondents, subject to payment of arrears as well as by production of No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the department concerned.
3.Such statement made by the learned counsel for the respondents has not been refuted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to pay the arrears as well as to produce the NOC obtained from the department concerned to the respondents and on such compliance, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, with regard to service connection to the petitioner Unit, within a period of two weeks thereafter. 5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
