Prayer:

This Criminal Revision filed under Section 397 and 401 of Code of Criminal Procedure to call for the entire records insofar relates to order passed in Na.Ka.No.A1/430/2012, dated 20.07.2012 on the file of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kancheepuram and set aside the same.

For Petitioner : C.Prakasam For Respondent : Mr.T.Shanmugarajeswaran Govt. Advocate (Crl.Side)

ORDER

The criminal revision has been filed against the restriction order passed by the respondent.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that subsequent to the order inpugned in this revision, the petitioner has closed his Rice Mill and is taking steps to obtain necessary permission from the Authorities. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

It is seen that the petitioner operated Rice Mill in the residential area without obtaining necessary permission from the Authorities concerned. The respondent has sent summons to the petitioner twice, but the petitioner failed to appear before the respondent. Therefore, the respondent made Field Inspection https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and found some defects as stated in the impugned order and hence has passed the restriction order, which is impugned in this revision and also directed the Tamilnadu Electricity Board to disconnect the electricity connection to the said Mill. This Court does not find any infirmity or perversity in the order passed by the respondent and hence the revision is devoid of merit and substance.

In view of the above, this criminal revision case is dismissed.
