Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to pass orders for granting approval of appointment of the petitioner in the sanctioned post of B.T. Assistant (Tamil) in the 3rd respondent school from the date of appointment with effect from 01.07.2022 with all consequential and other attendant benefits including payment of arrears of salary from the date of appointment based on the proposal resubmitted by the 3rd respondent school dated 01.07.2022 based on the representation submitted by the petitioner 25.01.2024 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 1/4

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the second respondent to consider the proposal sent by the third respondent school. 2.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.

The third respondent school is a Government aided school and it remains to be a religious minority institution. In the third respondent school, a vacancy to the post of BT Assistant (Tamil) arose on 30.06.2022 due to retirement of incumbent one, A.Lakshmi. The petitioner was selected and appointed to the said post by the third respondent school with effect from 01.07.2022. It is a sanctioned post as per staff fixation order and the petitioner is also fully qualified for the post of BT Assistant (Tamil). After her appointment, the third respondent had sent proposal for approval of the petitioner's appointment to the post of BT Assistant (Tamil). It is now pending on the file of the second respondent. 2/4

Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on the proposal sent by the third respondent for approval of the petitioner's appointment to the post of BT Assistant (Tamil) in the third respondent school, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
