PRAYER - This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 and 4 to grant permission for running the Petty shop at Zone No. 13, Ward No.168 at Guindy Olympia Technology Park Exactly at SIDCO Industrial Estate South Phase Road, Chennai and further direct the 1st and 2nd respondent to take the necessary steps for financial assistance to the petitioner for starting the business setups as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act, 2016 in pursuant of petitioner's representation dated 31.12.2025. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 3 and 4 to grant permission to the petitioner to run a Petty shop at the address morefully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition and further, direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to take necessary steps for financial assistance to the petitioner for supporting the business as per the provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act, 2016, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 31.12.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.Till date, the counter affidavit has not been filed by the respondents. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation. 3.For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 31.12.

2025, seeking for granting permission to the petitioner for running a Petty shop at the address morefully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition and also for the respondents 1 and 2 to take necessary steps for financial assistance to the petitioner for supporting her business as per the provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act, 2016, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
