Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to take necessary action on petitioner representation dated 01.05.2009 seeking among other things to issue patta / Ryotwari patta to the petitioner's 1 acre of land situate in Sy.No.158 (new survey number being R.S.No.1088/1) in village No.3, Gudalur, Gudalur Taluk, The Nilgiris District as has been directed by the first respondent vide his letter No.31626/SS-I(1)/2013-1 dated 29.08.2013 within a time limit that may be specified by this Hon'ble Court.

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to take necessary action on petitioner representation dated 01.05.2009 seeking among other things to issue patta / Ryotwari patta to the petitioner's 1 acre of land situate in Sy.No.158 (new survey number being R.S.No.1088/1) in village No.3, Gudalur, Gudalur Taluk, The Nilgiris District as has been directed by the first respondent vide his letter No.31626/SS-I(1)/2013-1 dated 29.08.2013 within a time limit that may be specified by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Without going into the merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to pass orders on the representation dated 01.05.2009 after issuance of notice to the parties concerned, after giving opportunity of hearing and pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if not already disposed of.

3. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
