The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation in Crime No.321 of 2025 from the file of the second respondent to the file of CBCID, Ariyalur. 1/4

The case of the petitioner is that since the investigation in Crime No.321 of 2025 has not been properly conducted by the second respondent, the present petition has been filed. 3.

Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner/de facto complainant, the aforesaid case in Crime No.321 of 2025 was registered by the second respondent on 15.11.2025 for the offences under Sections 61(2), 314, 316(1), 318(4), 336(3), 351(2) and 3(5) of the BNS. He further submitted that since the alleged misappropriated amount involved in this case amounts to Rs.12,53,00,000/-, on the request made by the second respondent, the first respondent has sent a request letter dated 17.12.2025 in C.No.C2/31048/2025, to the Director General of Police, Head of Police Force, Tamil Nadu, to transfer the investigation pending on the file of the second respondent to the file of EOW, Trichy and that orders from the DGP's office are awaited.

Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court directs the authorities concerned to 2/4

ensure that the case in Crime No.321 of 2025 on the file of the second respondent police is transferred to the file of the EOW, Trichy, at the earliest.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
