ORDER

The prayer in the present writ petition is challenging the recruitment notification of the first respondent herein dated 28.03.2013, for the post of Assistant Professors. The notification was issued in the year 2013 and almost 10 years have passed.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the University also submits that pursuant to the notification, the recruitment was completed and the Assistant Professors have been appointed and are now serving for the past more than 9 years. At this stage, interfering with the notification would not be appropriate.

3. In this connection, Periyar University Teachers Association had also raised similar grounds, challenging the notification dated 28.03.2013, in W.P.No.10585 of 2013 and the same came to be dismissed as withdrawn on 13.02.2020.

4. In the light of the above observation, the present Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
