COMMON PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Certiorari, calling for the records of the order dated 13.04.2016 in M.C.90 of 2016 and 20.03.2016 in M.C. 19 of 2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent and quash the same.

Public Prosecutor COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed seeking calling for the records of the order dated 13.04.2016 in M.C.90 of 2016 and 20.03.2016 in M.C. 19 of 2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent and quash the same.

2.It is seen that the petitioners have involved in several criminal activities thereby creating obstruction and disturbance of peace and tranquility causing damage to life and property of and intimidation to general public. Hence, several cases are pending against these petitioner in various crime https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

numbers. Therefore, the petitioners were prohibited under Section 144 of Cr.P.C. from entering into Puducherry District for a period of two months from the date of order or till any further orders passed by the competent Authority. Challenging the above said order, the petitioners are before this Court with the above said prayer.

3.It is seen from records, the impugned order was passed in the year 2016. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous.

4. Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
