ORDER

Aggrieved by the order dated 07.01.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.6914 of 2024 by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore, granting anticipatory bail to the 1st respondent/A1, the defacto complainant has filed the instant Criminal Original Petition, seeking cancellation of the same.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner/defacto complainant would submit that the accused have committed the offence of forgery and they have grabbed the property of the defaco complainant and therefore, the trial Court ought not to have granted anticipatory bail.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 2nd respondent police, on instructions would submit that the conditions imposed by the trial Court have been complied with by the 1st respondent/A1.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 2nd respondent Police and perused the materials available on record.

5. This Court is of the view that the petitioner has not made out a case for cancellation of bail. However, considering the nature of allegations, a direction can be issued to the 2nd respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
