Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.01.2020 and issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of a vacant house site, bearing Plot No.39, comprised in Survey No.142(part), the plot measuring an extent of 2603 sq. feet out of the total extent of acres 2.66 cents, in an approved layout, bearing Approval No.T.P.D.T.P.No.133/1973, situated at Periyakavanam Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.01.2020 and issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of a vacant house site, bearing Plot No.39, comprised in Survey No.142(part), the plot measuring an extent of 2603 sq. feet out of the total extent of acres 2.66 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

cents, in an approved layout, bearing Approval No.T.P.D.T.P.No.133/1973, situated at Periyakavanam Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District.

2.Mrs.A.B.Reehana Begum, learned Government Advocate entered appearance for the respondents 1 to 3 and submitted that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 05.03.2021 at 4.00 p.m at the office of the second respondent.

3.The said statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.

4.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the second respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to the period, if any lost for the responsibilities associated with the conduct of the General Elections, 2021.
