Respondents PRAYER: The Writ Petition has been filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to effect the name of the petitioner in the revenue records based on the order No.DKT/365/1416, dated 14.09.2006 pertaining to land in Veppur Taluk A.Chittoor Village S.No.208/9 to the extent of 0.73 Ares of land under the schemes of distribution of 2 acres of waste land to the families of poor agriculturist scheme - 2006 and issue patta in the name of the petitioner within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to effect the name of the petitioner in the revenue records based on the order No.DKT/365/1416, dated 14.09.2006 pertaining to land in Veppur Taluk A.Chittoor Village S.No.208/9 to the extent of 0.73 Ares of land under the schemes of distribution of 2 acres of waste land to the families of poor agriculturist scheme - 2006 and issue patta in the name of the petitioner within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 17.12.2018, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and hence, the matter was directed to be posted on 07.01.2019.

3. Again, on 07.01.2019, when the matter was called, there was no representation for the petitioner and the Registry was directed to list the matter on 08.01.2019 under the caption "for dismissal". Accordingly, the matter is listed today under the caption "for dismissal".

4. Even today, when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.
