Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to call for the records pertaining to the issuance of summons under Section 91 Cr.P.C., in complaint C.No. 42/DSP/ALGSC/TVLR/2021 dated 28.01.2021 of the Inspector of Police, Anti-Land Grabbing Special Cell, Tiruvallur District and quash both the summon and the complaint covered by the summon.

The petitioners seek to quash the summon issued by the first respondent against the petitioners under Section 91 Cr.P.C.

2. When the matter was taken up today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the enquiry conducted by the first respondent was closed and hence, there is no requirement for the petitioners' appearance.
