ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 15.11.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 126(2), 296(b), 109, 125, 351(3) and 3(5) of BNS Act, in Crime No.735 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 1/4

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein joined hands with the other accused and went to the place of occurrence and attacked the defacto complainant with knife and caused grievous injuries in his face and hence, a case was registered by the respondent police.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case and he is in judicial custody from 15.11.2025 and the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent while opposing the bail to the petitioner, reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the injured got discharged from the hospital and there is 20 previous cases as against the petitioner and that the further investigation of this case is pending. 5.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the fact that the petitioner is having 20 previous cases and it is a case where the petitioner caused grievous injuries to the complainant, I am not 2/4

inclined to grant bail to the petitioner herein. 6.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 06.02.2026 ssa To
