ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to give appointment to the petitioner as Junior Assistant on compassionate ground.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing learned counsel appearing for petitioner submitted that this writ petition was filed for granting compassionate appointment, however during the pendency of the writ petition the petitioner was given compassionate appointment as Office Assistant, though the petitioner is a qualified graduate and is entitled for the post of Junior Assistant.

3. Though it is fairly conceded by the petitioner that the prayer of compassionate appointment sought for has been considered and granted to the petitioner, however, it is prayed that the petitioner having a degree qualification, his case ought to have been considered for the post of Junior Assistant. However, this Court is not inclined to go into the said issue, as the prayer sought for by the petitioner is only to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

limited extent of providing him compassionate appointment. The said prayer having already been granted, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. However liberty is granted to the petitioner to make a representation to the respondent for grant of the higher post of Junior Assistant in the vacancy that arises in future, if so advised. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed. However there shall be no order as to costs.
